The Kilmore Celtic Festival

The Kilmore Celtic Festival

The Kilmore Celtic Festival is a celebration of the early Australian settlers who came here from Ireland, Scotland, Cornwall & Wales. Kilmore – which means “Big Church” owes its name to one of its great entrepreneurs William Rutledge, who was born in Kilmore, Co. Clare, Ireland.

Kilmore celebrates each year to enjoy their heritage with a fun-filled weekend of music, poetry & dance.

The Kilmore Celtic Festival presents a weekend of music, song and dance with good old fashioned country hospitality including a Poet’s breakfast and a fabulous Celtic Banquet.

The 2020 festival has been cancelled due to lockdown. We hope the 2021 festival will be back, bigger and better than ever.
